Art Of Tones – Unstopped EP, w/ The Revenge Remix (Review)

Art Of Tones – Unstopped EP, w/ The Revenge Remix (Review)
The "Unstopped EP" is Art Of Tones' second release on Fred Everything's label Lazy Days Recordings following "Elephants and Flies", released in 2013. The latter one additionally has been flanked by a remix EP including versions by Alex Barck, Fred Everything and Lay-Far a few months ago. Here the clearly expressed lead vocals "No stopping / keep grooving", surrounded by a transposed vocal cut and short voice sounds, mostly valuable describe the dynamic of the title track which additionally appears in a remix and a dub version by the scottish producer The Revenge.  While the original works out an uplifting house vibe it's the remixes which slowly direct into a broken, crowded disco shine. The 2nd original "Can't Turn U Loose" shows a soulful yet tough house music offering a subtly melancholic charme.
