Professor Inc. – Protensive Apodicticity on Bad Animal (How We Get Dun feat. Kenny Gino – Video)
One thing we love at Bad Animal is timeless music. This is exactly that. After an amazing streak of releases including a massive gem on Rue De Plaisance, enigmatic Parisian producer Professor Inc comes back strong with hypnotic, techno-laced house jams for the Bad Animal. “How We Get Dun” is a loose and raw affair, elegantly balancing gentle flickering flames of Jazz with dark, gritty drum work. Definitely one for the heads, especially considering that it features the vocals of Kenny Gino of the mighty Solid Gold Playaz! “10,000 Feet” brings a bit more funk to the mix. Sinewy synths and atmosphere gives way to bumpin drums and proper house vibes. On the B-side we have an experimental, almost ambient jam called “Roots” by the Professor, coupled with a rework by our resident animals, San Franciscos Safeword. The remix takes all the pensive, emotive, almost narcotic tribal flare of the original cut and twists it up into a mad, stomping techno masterpiece. Watch the dance floor burn with this one!
